     The First Day
    January 16, 2017.
Changsha is definitely the city I have traveled the most – countless times, countless short stays, and even lived in Lito Town for a short time, but never had a good tour.
Near the end of the year, finally have a chance toI came to the city in the name of appreciation, and the beauty of the city was savoured between the mountains and rivers.
When you arrive in Changsha, you can’t miss Orange Island.
According to historical records, the Orange Island was formed in 305 AD, and it was formed by the torrents and sandstones. It has evolved into a long island and is named after the rich oranges. But what really made Orange Island famous in the world was because of Chairman Mao Zedong’s “Yuanyuanchun. Changsha”.
Chairman Mao Zedong seems to have a special liking for the Orange Isles. Not only has he repeatedly hit the water in the middle stream, but he also made a joint match with Premier Zhou Enlai. It is called the United States: “Oranges, the boat on the continent, the boat does not go; Tianxin Pavilion, In the middle of the pavilion, the pigeons do not fly.”
Orange Island is actually a huge park. It inherits the rich historical and cultural heritage and adds the cultural elements of modern gardens. The exquisite ancient architecture and simple modern attractions complement each other and have the reputation of “China’s first continent”.
From the Orange Island Station, follow a walking path. The first thing that catches your eye is the Xiangjiang River scenery belt. The clouds are long, the rivers are flowing, and numerous sand dunes are scattered like a jade. An Orange Island Bridge spans the Xiangjiang River. The squares, green belts and historical and cultural landscapes are perfectly connected, and they are unique in style.
From the name alone, it can be seen that Xiangjiang is the river of Hunan, from Qu Jiaxing to Zhu Zhanghui, from Wang Fuzi’s “use of the world” to Zeng Guofan’s “blood and honesty”, from Huang Xing’s “Yongjian” “Opening the country” to Mao Zedong “pointing Jiangshan”, Xiangjiang not only nurtured thousands of children of Hunan, but also gave birth to the splendid Hunan culture.
Even in the cold winter, the tourists who come to visit are still in a constant stream, or take a walk, or sightseeing, or rest, not like a scenic spot, more like a paradise.
However, Orange Island is known as one of the largest inland continents in the world. It is about 6 kilometers long from north to south. It is strictly forbidden to enter motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. If there is no physical strength and perseverance, it is difficult to complete the journey. However, I have become accustomed to using the footsteps to measure the world. I did not choose to take a sightseeing train, but walked from the beginning to the end, savoring the scenery of each place.
Some regrets are that because Orange Island is in the heart of the river, it is often flooded with water. There are not many ancient buildings that have survived to this day. Most of them are destroyed in the war, and they have long disappeared in the long river of history. Today’s famous attractions such as Gongjilou, Jiangshen Temple, Zhuzhangdu and Wangjiang Pavilion belong to antique buildings.
In addition, because Orange Island was once a foreign territory, there are still many European-style buildings such as the Changsha Customs House, the Meifu Yangxing Private Villa, the Tang Shengzhi Residence, the Clergy Residence, and the Red House Villa, which form the wonder of the combination of Chinese and Western.
Of course, the most striking thing is the Mao Zedong youth art sculpture standing in the head of Orange Island in Changsha. The original Mao Zedong in 1925 is the original art form. It is made up of more than 8,000 pieces of Yongding red granite stone collected from the high mountains of Fujian. About 2,000 tons, up to 32 meters, is the largest statue of a great man in China. It was in this year that the 32-year-old Mao Zedong published the popular “Yuanyuanchun. Changsha”!
“Ask the vast land, who is ups and downs” – this is not only the historical question of Mao Zedong that transcends the times, but also the spiritual symbol of the people of Hunan who are worried about the world and dare to be the first. Therefore, they have won the sincere admiration of the Chinese children and the future. Full of the belief that you must win!
As night falls, the Hua Deng is at the beginning, but it is another scene. The beauty of Orange Island is like a lotus flower, which is so intoxicating.
The mountains and rivers hold the city, and the continent is Lingbo. Tianxinfeige, fishing boat sings late.
Xiaoxiang night, lights and charm, orangezhou Jiajing like screen painting. In the smoke, under the moonlight, the boat was smashed.
After visiting Orange Island, it was late, I took the subway to Huangxing Square and visited the famous Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street. This commercial pedestrian street follows the name of the street. At the entrance, there is a tall bronze statue of Huangxing, which was built to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the birth of Huang Xing, the pioneer of China’s modern democratic revolution. It is manifested by the Huanghai Revolution after the reign of the Qing Dynasty. In the suit, the right hand is holding the coat, and the dusty servant returns to the scene of his hometown of Changsha.
Before going to the Pozi Street, I knew that Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street was nearby, but I couldn’t see it. This time it was a make up for the shortcomings in my heart.
In comparison, Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street is a modern route that integrates shopping, leisure, entertainment, catering, culture, tourism and many other functions. It not only attracts major brands to come, but also brings together food from all over the country. It can be described as the “soul” of Changsha.
Pozi Street was originally a thousand-year-old street. It is a retro route. It is a collection of fire palaces, Xiangqun, Shuangyanlou, Yang Yuxing, etc. It is a paradise for food, and you can taste stinky tofu and sugar oil. Changsha rice noodles, taste shrimp and other authentic Changsha snacks.
From the jewels of the millennium old street, to the silence after the Wenxi fire, to the singularity of the phoenix after the Nirvana, Pozi Street has gone through a reincarnation, which is precisely a microcosm of the indomitable culture of Huxiang culture, and can withstand prosperity. Affected by the decline, but always refused to give up, once rising, it is impossible. Every street and street is the pulse of the silent dance of the years; every food is a bit of accumulation of history; every storefront is the ingenuity of the wind and rain.

     The Second Day
    January 17.
Yuelu Mountain and Orange Island are just like Yueyang Tower and Junshan Island, which together form a 5A-level tourist attraction. It is also a card of Changsha.
The name of Yuelu Mountain is taken from a passage in “Nan Yue Ji”: “800 miles around Nanyue, Huiyan is the head, Yuelu is the foot.” As the last peak of the 72nd peak of Nanyue, Yuelu Mountain can be described as the darling of God. Surrounded by Xiangshui, the orange continent is lying, the tourmaline is open, the show is like jade, the mountains, rivers, continents and cities are all in one. The beauty of the lakes and mountains is the essence of Xiangchu culture. There is a victory of Yuelu, Jia Yuchu. The reputation of Xiang.
Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are gathered here, and Huxiang culture is born here. Tao Chong, Ma Wei, Yu Xiu, Liu Changqing and other celebrities are here to celebrate, Li Wei, Du Fu, Du Mu, Liu Zongyuan, Mi Wei, Zhu Xi, Zhang Nanxuan Wang Shouren, Yuan Mei and other scholars left poetry inscriptions here. Mao Zedong, Cai Hesen, Luo Xueqi, Zhang Kundi and other friends were searching for revolutionary truths. The Millennium School Yuelu Academy, the first Taoist Temple in Huxiang, and the 23rd hole in Taoism Yunxiao Palace, one of the four famous pavilions, is located in the love pavilion, Huang Xing, Cai Wei and other benevolent people also sleep here, the prosperity of humanity, is a must.
Because it is taking the No. 2 line to Rongwan Town, it is going up from the North Gate. However, because the scenic spots are mostly concentrated in the South Gate, the weather is relatively cold, the mountain winds are bursting, the fog is smoggy, and there are not many tourists. Quiet.
To be honest, Yuelu Mountain is not too high, only three hundred meters. For those who have used to climb the kilometer-level mountain, it is naturally a piece of cake. You don’t have to rush to the top. Instead, you have more leisurely enjoyment. The scenery along the road.
After about an hour, I finally climbed to the top of the mountain. I was greeted by a 140-meter-long sightseeing corridor. I could ascend the Range Rover and take in the sights of mountains, water, continents and cities. At this time, the clouds covered the eyes, everything was in the middle of it, and nothing could be seen clearly.
Later, I still chose to walk down the mountain and go straight to the Huangxing Tomb. The mausoleum sits west to the east. Above it is a tower-shaped pillar with a height of about 10 meters. It is made of a whole piece of square-shaped milky white rock with a copper tombstone on the front. It is engraved with the words “the tomb of Huanggong Keqiang”. It is magnificent and solemn.
Huang Xing is an authentic Hunan native. He is also a revolutionary pioneer with Sun Yat-sen. He once emulated the class to surpass the pen, and struggled to overthrow the monarchy and realize the republic. He eventually died in Shanghai due to overwork, and the Yuelu Mountain was buried in the second year. Absolutely “Aoyama has the privilege of burying the bones!”
Continue to the halfway up the mountain, you can see a beautiful and quiet lake, the famous name is wearing Shipo Lake, and it is said that the Eastern Jin Dynasty famous Tao Tao was delayed due to the government affairs and the time of the agreement with the white crane girl. After waiting for 81 days, he finally got the compensation. The wish, but for the Bodhisattva to block, was forced to wear the stone and turned around and saw only a stone wall standing in front of the eyes, hence the name stone slip.
As soon as I reached the foot of the mountain, I saw the rumored love night pavilion.
When it comes to love night pavilion, Du Mu is definitely the best spokesperson. Because of its phrase “Parking and Love Fenglin Night”, it is famous all over the world. It is also known as the four famous pavilions in China with Tao Ranting, Hu Xinting and Zuo Weng Pavilion.
Over the past few centuries, the love night pavilion has undergone vicissitudes of life, and Tongzhi, Guangxu and Xuantong have been repaired one after another. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, it was completely destroyed in the war. It was rebuilt in 1952. The pavilion was rebuilt with eight columns, glazed Biwa, and pavilion. Feiqiao, from the distance, looks like a volley, and in the shadow of the mountains and the shadows, basically restored the style of the past.
Next, I came to the top of the trip – Yuelu Academy.
Yuelu Academy is located at the foot of Yuelu Mountain, which acts as a cornerstone. It is no exaggeration to say that if there is no Yuelu Academy, Yuelu Mountain will probably lose more than half of it.
In 976, Tanzhou Taishou Zhudong officially established the Yuelu Academy on the site of the original monks. After thousands of years, the songs and songs were inexhaustible, and the learning veins were extended, and the history of “Xiangxiang” was used to make history.
From the layout point of view, Yuelu Academy uses the traditional central axis symmetry, deep and multi-entry courtyard form, the main building such as the head door, the main door, the second door, the lecture hall, the Yushu building are concentrated on the central axis, the lecture hall is arranged in the central axis. The central part of the country, the banquet, and the special rituals are arranged on both sides to form a multi-level spatial sequence, which not only creates a sense of depth and visuality, but also reflects the orderly and hierarchical level of Confucian culture. There are different, distinct social and ethical relationships.
Since the Southern Song Dynasty philosopher Zhang Wei became the head of the mountain, Yuelu Academy became the birthplace of the Hunan School and cultivated a large number of “Yuelu Giants”.
From the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the early Republic of China, Yuelu Academy ushered in a new development peak. A group of historical figures came out from here, no matter the political reformists who appeared in the Opium War with Tao Wei, He Changling, Yan Ruzhen and Wei Yuan. Or the Westernization Movement, which was dominated by the Zeng Guofan, Zuo Zongtang, Guo Wei, Hu Linyi, Li Yuandu, Liu Rong, Liu Changyou, Zeng Guofan, and Liu Kunyi, during the Westernization Movement, or the Tan dynasty that occurred during the Reform Movement of 1898.The reforms of the bourgeoisie and the revolutionary sects of the same period, including Cai Yi, Chen Tianhua and Cheng Qian, which were the mainstays of the Qing Dynasty, Liang Qichao, Tang Caichang, Shen Yu and Huang Zunxian, all left a strong ink in modern history. The color of the stroke also added a lot of legendary color to Yuelu Academy.
In response to this grand occasion, Yu Qiuyu once sighed in the “Millennium Garden”: “When you look at a whole Qing Dynasty, what do you need to spend your brains, isn’t it being swept up by this mountain courtyard?”
We have reason to believe that architecture has a soul. Different from the imperial style of the Forbidden City, it is also different from the exquisite elegance of Jiangnan Garden. The Yuelu Academy has a fragrance of Han ink and does not flow in the vulgarity. Each group of courtyards, every stone tablet and every brick and tile bears the years. The essence of the sedimentation of the humanities, the door of the two doors “to the Daxie, the famous mountain of Tibet” is the best annotation.
The mountains are not high, and the humanities are heavy. Look at the humanities, to become the world.
Only Chu is material, Yusi is Sheng. The prosperity of the industry, the world is second to none!
